Ragnarok Online

Posted by Kalu On 7/17/2009 03:08:00 PM 1 comments

Today's Topic is Ragnarok Online.

Ragnarok online is a MMORPG or to say it fully: a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.

The game has multiple classes and jobs:

(Click Picture for bigger view)

The main thing you need to do is killing monsters.
Every time you kill a monster you get experience and when the experience bar reaches 100% you gain a level.
The maximum level you can reach is 99 and when you reach it the first time you can rebirth.

Each level you gain a number of stat points, These stats points can be put into the following stats:

Strength: Your melee attack does more damage and you can carry more things in your inventory
Agility: You attack more fast and dodge things more
Vitality: You get more Health points and get less damage when attacked
Intelligence: You do more damage with magic and get more Special points
Dexterity: You have more chance to hit and ranged attacks do more damage
Luck: You have more chance to do critical attacks and special dodge

Each class has own special stat that is important.

Also there is a Special Player versus Player system, that is 2 times a week(On some servers even 4 times, depending on country)
It is called War of Emperium.
The goal in this Player versus Player system is to kill all players in between the entrance and the emperium and after that break the emperium.

The emperium is within a castle, which got multiple rooms, so you can use different kinds of strategies.

Also things you can do in the game are:
Killing MvPs(Most valuable players), Equip things to look pretiest, ugliest etc., Player versus players in arenas, talk and much more.

I really recommend this game as it won't bore you for months, even years for some.

RF Online - Under Construction

Posted by Kalu On 6/29/2009 12:47:00 PM 0 comments

Ones again a small review, this one is also still under construction!

I play a lot of games, and this is one of the MMORPGs I play,
MMORPG = Massive Multiplayer online Role Play game

Introduction
There are 3 races:

* Bellato
* Accretia
* Cora

Which are seperated again by classes:

* Ranger
* Specialist
* Warrior
* Spiritualist

which again are seperated

anyway, I can go on about the characters forever..

Graphics
I like the graphics personally, they're 3D, and aren't boring at all!
5 of 5 Points

Sound
Personally the music is good, but can get boring after lots of time
3 of 5 points

Time and achievements

You need to be playing a lot to get a real lvl, and obviously you will fail at school and stuff, so not so great game for none die-hard gamers..
4 of 5 points

Ease of Playing
It's pretty easy to play, although you will have to get used to the controls
4 of 5 points

Conclusion
Only a game for the die hard gamer, and you gotta love a lot of classes...

Final Fantasy III Review

Posted by Kalu On 6/10/2009 10:58:00 PM 0 comments

Once again a review, hope you like it!!

Although I didn't really completed a game of the final fantasy Serie totally, I am liking all the games of the serie,
The games are about always some characters who have to explore a sort of "Country".
The game is very detailed, and 3D which makes the graphics pretty cool, you even got a zoom option to look for Special stuff,
The sound is pretty basic, and can get a bit boring after some time,
But the gameplay is easy, the battle system is pretty cool and there are even new jobs!

Graphics
Liked them very much, very detailed, and got a zoom option

5 out of 5 points

Sound
This was one of the bad parts of the game, In my opinion it was a bit boring after some time

3 out of 5 points

Gameplay
Liked it, the battle system was nice, but a bit annoying

4 out of 5 points

Features
There were new jobs, which made it fun to play!

5 out of 5 points

Do you enjoy playing it
From time to time, not the whole time, as it becomes boring then

3 out of 5 points

Easy of playing
Wasn't hard to play, but not easy either

3 out of 5 points

Value of money
Just 1 word : Great

5 out of 5 points

Conclusion

It's good for everyone who wants to play this kind of game, but it's not for someone who really wants to continue the whole time, as then it becomes boring

Small Heroes of mana Review

Posted by Kalu On 6/08/2009 04:49:00 PM 0 comments

I have played all the games in the mana serie, and this stays my favorite,
I love the story, I don't tell any real spoilers, but the start of the game is just amazing!

This game makes you believe like it happens at this very moment, with great music to support it,

Although the graphics are pretty cool, the best part stays that it all is happening in a normal speed.

Graphics
In my opinion great, they are pretty basic, but still quite real

4 of 5 points

Sound
Love it, it doesn't become boring at all!

5 of 5 points

Ease to play
OK.

3 of 5 points

Did I enjoy playing it?
Loved it

5 of 5 points

Conclusion
I love it, but I would only advice it to people who are new to this kind of games, or who played the Mana series

Ragnarok Online Review

Posted by Kalu On 6/07/2009 08:09:00 PM 0 comments

Notice: It's about Yuno update!!

I have been playing ragnarok since a year or 4 ago,
And I am still playing it,
Although the graphics are now a bit out of date with other MMOs, they are still cute.
The Gameplay is above most MMOs great!,
I advice this game to everyone not only by graphics and gameplay,
The music and sound effects are really great
This game update of Ragnarok online(4.1 that is), Comes with great new updates.
Although Ragnarok online is a lot of updates further nowadays, it was still one of the greatest updates in my opinion,
With yuno coming(With even more great music!) the game is already totally fun,
I would advice everyone this game as for music, gameplay, game graphics, game expierence, and the people in the game!

I still play this game because of regular updates and nice people of the game, also I still play because of the regular events, and just the gameplay

The Game is mostly about fighting monsters and fighting after it fighting eachother

Some videos about it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIL34dW8x60
http://www.youtube.com/wat ch?v=EwdwHgzwLLc

The Game has some classes, like knight, crusader, thief, assassin, rogue, wizard, clown, archer and lots more,
The Game goes fast and has a story behind it, I rather would type it out myself, but as I can't copy I will link you to it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragnarok

The game you play with your mouse and with the F and then a number keys,

My favorite class is clown as it looks cool and such, and the game can be played by young and old, but warning, it's stated it's best for 13+ childs, as it's a bit violent in some peoples eyes,

It's an MMORPG, which is Massive multiplayer online role play game.

Hello everyone,

I know I haven't posted here for some time, and now it is time to keep my promise and update.

First of all I will start with the most hottest topic at this time E3.

E3

For more information about E3 look HERE

This year Microsoft got my interest the most, because of quite some interesting games,

While I am a fan of the Wii, I'm going to say that nintendo did bad, very bad.

To just show 1 of the things of Nintendo is wii fit plus:

I like this game but compared to this example of microsoft, well it says enough I hope...

To see more from E3, please look HERE.

PC Upgrade

Next of all, I got a computer upgrade.

I am pretty proud to announce that I went from a single core processor to a quad core ;),

This will mean more reviews about more heavy games!, so please stay tuned!

[SHORT]My Story about the Wii

The Nintendo Wii known mostly for Mario and Sonic is my favorite console,

I play on it almost daily and I got some favorite games, but why do I love it?

- Nice look

- Fun Games

- A lot of Fitness Games

- Playing Together

What games do I have?

- Wii Fit

- Baroque

- Wii Music

- Wii Sports

- Mario Kart Wii

- Mario Power Tennis

- Super Smash Bros Brawl

- Wii Play

- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I love the wii still for the cutesy games and lovely music,

Also because of the fact that it's purely based on playing together rocks

Well that's all for today,

Tomorrow more will follow,

Please stay looking!

Yours Truly,

Kalu

It are songs, but I don't know really which genre they are in, I am sorry for this :(

Nintendo DS Review

Posted by Kalu On 6/03/2009 04:46:00 PM 0 comments

Within the announcements of the new Nintendo DS games I made some reviews,
Here's the first:

Nintendo DS

I have lots of fun with this game console, played lots of games on it, and it's handy and even used very fast,
Although I don't always like the design it's easy useable and kind of small, can be used by young and old,
I love it for it's display and touchable second screen.
Although it's get dirty fast, it's also easy clean able,
I would advice this console above most consoles, and I liked it above the playstation and such

Specs:
CPU: One 67 MHz ARM946E-S [1] and one 33 MHz ARM7TDMI
Media: GBA cartridges
Nintendo DS game cards
System storage: Cartridge save, 4 MB tRAM
Connectivity Wi-Fi
Online service: Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection
Type: Handheld
Conclusion
It gets dirty fast, and it got a second screen you can touch to play, it's handy and small, and can be used by everyone, I can only say it's a great handheld!

A old .hack//infection review

Posted by Kalu On 6/01/2009 06:50:00 PM 0 comments

I have played this game for only 1 day yet, so my information may not be that accurate about the middle of the game, but,
I really like this game, It's a simulated MMORPG, meaning that it's sort of a game where you play with lots of people at the same time.
The Graphics of this game are great and make it almost if it's you in the game(If you're a boy that is of course),
The music are a bit of a copy of the animes, but it doesn't take away that it's great music that fits the moments.
The normal loading screens which are in almost every PS2 game is not disturbing, it makes it even feel like more of an mmorpg,
The disturbing part is the gameplay, it's hard to really fight.
But overall :
I advice really to play it,
It keeps you busy for a lot of time.

Free games...

Posted by Kalu On 5/09/2009 01:05:00 PM 0 comments

THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS!
Well, on the request that was said a few post back, I am now posting the post about free games... Free games, everyone knows some, if it may be free mmorpgs, mmogs, flash games, but also puzzles. Now, if you want a game like puzzles, try going to a market or so, and you can find them for a low price mostly, But MMOGs(Massive multiplayer online games) and Browser Games are mostly hard to find a good one! Though Flash Games are very popular, and can be all across the internet(Actually, where don't you see them nowadays...?), I'm going to have to exclude them of this list, seeing as they are pretty basic, and mostly have advertisement in them, for a company, site or whatsoever... As I'm not going to provide possible virus games! So first up is Browser Games. Now most likely everyone will know Runescape, if you don't, you missed something I guess..., not that I like it though :P But before starting to tell any other name, I would like to point you to one thing: Browser games are there in all sorts of types, including where you just have to surf to play as also where you have to stay one 1 site and also the passive ones, which say enough I hope, please understand why I separated those from each other before reading any further! Surf/Passive games can be lovely, also if you haven't got time to really play games, because you have to work or anything else, because you don't have to do a lot and still have fun and the possibility to chat with other people! Site games are mostly tricky, because there are a lot of them, and in all sorts of ways, you got to have a lot time and mostly the patience to keep doing one thing the whole time! Do note, that sometimes the passive/surf games are just called Online Social Networking! Now that you understand the differences, let's start! Surf/Passive Games: PMOG also known as Passively Multiplayer Online Game or TheNethernet is my favorite one, if you have just an firefox or flock browser, you can start playing! You will make an account, and you get a lot of things to do, as placing mines on sites, DP Cards(DP/Data points is the currency of PMOG), linking one site to another, making mission and a lot more! Also obviously you can chat with everyone that is registered with just one press on a button, and no need to go to another site! Interested in this game?, Check it out now at : http://www.thenethernet.com/ and add me if you want, my name on the game is Kaluntia, and if needed I will tell you the basics of the game to help you get started(Also there might be a suprise for the first 10 joining and adding me to their friends!) ittybittyrpg, don't know anything about this, if anyone want to tell more about this game, please comment so that an updated information is here, obviously you get all claims and such! Want to know more, go to : http://ittybittyrpg.com/ metaplace, Well I have yet to get acces to their beta, so for now no information, want to share information about this game, please comment! Site is: https://www.metaplace.com/ rocketon, Seems like a fun game, will register in a few minutes, and will share my experiences as soon as possible, keep a close look on this post! want to join? go to: www.rocketon.com If you are missing something, please comment and I will add as soon as possible!! Browser Site Games: Please check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_multiplayer_browser_games for more information, I'm not into this sort of games at this moment, and can't tell about them really... Free MMOs: Please check out one of the following sites: mmosite.com onrpg.com mmorpg.com A full article on free MMOs will come, so please keep a close look on this blog! Anything missing, comment please!

MMORPG as a real girl...

Posted by Kalu On 5/09/2009 10:54:00 AM 0 comments

Well..., on all MMORPGs(Massive Multiplayer Online Role Play Games) you will most likely find the same story, Boys playing girls, and sometimes even the other way around...
That all seems fine and such..., but actually, there are some things that happened because of it, and then I don't mean the regular stories, like people really being of the police, FBI and such who are playing girls as boys, or boys as girls..
No..., there are some side-effects for the real girls that really play on girl characters, and that's what the topic is for this post.

I played a lot of MMORPGs in my history of Gaming, but the most known I will say:

- Ragnarok Online
- World of Warcraft(Actually just started trying it)
- EVE Online(No problems)
- Flyff
- Runescape(Well not very long, but I tried..., more info about this will show when you read further...)
- Sword of the New World(No problems there though!)
- ROSE Online
- Perfect World
- RF Online(No problems at all!)
and a lot more

Now, to tell you the truth, I loved Ragnarok Online, I have played it for more then 4 years, so that should say enough, and it was really hard to say goodbye when I quite, because I actually still think about those people, as they live very close to me, I still remember them, and sometimes even see them, which makes me wanna play again..., but if you want a bigger story about this, keep checking this blog, as I will tell you all details soon!

Every game is different, but the story on all of these games were mostly the same...
But as there were some differences, let's start looking on some games and their stories from me:

Ragnarok Online: Lovely game, not that good graphics for this age, but the real problem was that most boys thought I was a guy too, and when some knew I was a girl, started saying they would like to go out with me, and that sort of crap,
Now as I play games for fun, and not to find a guy, I was kind of offended by those boys, and just ignored them, or warped them to somewhere they would a hard time to live still ;), on this game the problems with those guys were small, as there were a lot of more people, and finding a guild was not that hard ^^, so I had no real problems here

Flyff: Mostly the same story as Ragnarok Online

World of Warcraft: Same as Ragnarok Online

Perfect World: Okay..., it's here not perfect... AT ALL!, every city where I came, every field where I came..., all and the same, people asking all the female chars to date, have *beep* and sometimes threatening to kill you in real life...
I played this game with 2 of my best friends, and they had no problems..., though they were another race..., I love the game and graphics.., the people I have seen disgusted me, and It made me quit the game the same day as I started it...

Rose Online: Same as Perfect World

Runescape: Same as Perfect world, but including that the graphics were very very bad...., should say enough

Now I'm a girl who plays games for fun, and not to search a date or anything, and to even go further, most real girls who play games already have a boyfriend!(Okay, I don't, but still..., you should get what I mean..)
I have a small selection of games to play because of this, which is highly annoying, because obviously, the only way to get around this is to do like you're a boy and play a male character...
And to be really honest..., this all because of all those advertisement like Girls of Gaming and such, were you see real hot girls(To speak boy-terms) playing games...,
Well sorry boys, we girls can have a real laugh..., Mostly the girls who are playing games have something that is so called by boys, wrong..., like

being too fat(Okay.., that I can still understand)
wrong haircolor(Something wrong with blonde? :P)
wrong hairstyle(Like short-haired girls are not so kind as long-haired)
wrong appearance(Like girls have to be really though, or too shy...)
wrong breasts...(Not kidding with that..)
wrong clothes(Something wrong with normal trousers?)
and a LOT more things

Well, this is just disgusting, and too destroy the boy's dreams: The girls in the advertisements aren't mostly that way..., that is called Make-up, Silicons, Hair stylist, Hairdye, diet pills and all those things you see with models and movie stars also.

And to end this post:
This is what girls annoys mostly on games, and that is why most likely you rarely find a real girl...
Thanks for reading!

Game Lovers/Bloggers/Fanatics/Players Searched!

Posted by Kalu On 5/08/2009 11:25:00 PM 0 comments

Well, like I said in the last post, I'm searching for bloggers, experienced or newbies, that want to help keeping this blog up to date, and share YOUR thoughts about games, Music, Anime or something else if you discuss it with me first,
Also obviously, you get a link to wherever you want to, and the possibility to post whatever you want as long as it's Safe for Kids and is about Music, Anime or Games or anything else as long as approved by me.
Though don't worry, if you post normally and stay within the rules, the exception of possibilities will change, you will get more access etc.
Also you get a great post about yourself, where you can introduce yourself etc., A short introduction in the sidebar, and maybe more if you can convince me to an okay(Which is not hard :P).
Though 1 thing is top priority: No Spam, Scam or anything else that people annoys

Are you the Boy, Girl, Woman, Man or computer(Just kidding) that feels like it?, just comment on this post, and I will contact you within 1 day!
Also, if you already own a site, blog or page, please tell that page, so I can look at it, and see if you're capable, though, you don't have too obviously!, because you do it mostly for fun!

Once again, Interested, comment as soon as possible!

Greetings,

Your Lovely Girl Gamer Kalu

My opinion
I love this CD, it got lovely tracks on it, although it might not be loved by everyone, it's a great CD for everyone who watched the hunterXhunter Anime.
Some songs are a bit dark in my opinion, which makes me love them less,
All but all, it's a wonderfull CD with much songs that are perfectly made...

Makers
Title: Hunter X Hunter Song Collection
Performer: No Idea

Genre: Soundtracks
Release Date: 01/04/2005

Label: Pioneer
Composed: Toshihiko Sahashi

Conclusion
Some songs might be too dark, and it might not be loved if you didn't watch the HunterXHunter Anime
But all by all a great CD, imo worth buying.

Eve Online

Posted by Kalu On 5/05/2009 09:27:00 AM 0 comments

I'm pretty much ashamed of myself, I was too busy with the mmorpg I wanted to tell about, that I forgot about telling you guys about it :(

Well, too no longer forget it here is already a bit:

Hello everyone!

Today as promised I want to tell you about a famous game, that I love too play...
Though most will guess it's WoW(World of Warcraft) well, you're wrong there!
I want to tell you guys about EVE Online.

Eve online is an online game that is based on market and war,
The special thing about the market is that there is no npc(No Player Character) that sells items, only the players of the game itself!

Now normally I don't like paid games, when there are free games, that mostly look like it,
But this is what is different about EVE Online, this game is so advanced with both Graphics and Market feature there is no game that looks like it(Yet!)

Sci-fi(Science Fiction) games, like eve online, are mostly the less played games, but you're wrong when you think EVE Online is that also.
EVE Online is mass(Massive) played, and is one of the best(If not the best) played online Sci-fi game

For a bit difference then chat, here is the into of the game:

Now the game is by an Icelandic company CCP Games, but unlike the banks, this company, has NOT YET be influenced by the Economic crisis(Atleast they said they weren't), so you have not too fear that suddenly the game is gone *Winks*

Now I could go on, and tell you every little thing about the game, but I don't that, as I think you should see it yourself!

So check it out at *Click here*

Oh yeah, and for steam users(And everyone else), check out the steam trail page, for a 21 day trail instead of 14!

One day without gaming is a day without living

My Opinion
I've watched this DVD, and could watch it forever,
It's is a cute anime, with some special touches,
For example it's about Ballet(That's a dance type for those who don't know) which makes it very loved with everyone who loves dancing,
Combined with Comedy sometimes, the action and romance, it makes a perfect anime for almost everyone,
I've watched all the episodes after eachother, and still watch this DVD again and again...

I would say it's great!

Director and such

Director: Junichi Sato and Shogo Koumoto
Studio: Hal Film Maker
Conclusion
It's fun for young and old, and all sort of genre lovers,
It's just a part of the whole series, which makes the price maybe a bit high though, but for the rest I love it

.hack//sign Anime Review

Posted by Kalu On 5/04/2009 06:48:00 AM 0 comments

With this Anime Beetrain made a great anime for everyone who is interested in games and such!,

Story

The story is about Tsukasa, who is captured in a sort of gameworld, called The World, he goes from place to place to get free of this game, and meets people who are playing the game.

Good things about this Anime
It's something no-one would ever happen, which makes it fun to watch, also it has to do with this age, it's about computers, hacking and all that sort of stuff.
I like it myself because it makes me sad while glad it doesn't happen to me at the same time,

Also It's pretty good graphics for a anime(Atleast in my opinion), which it makes it even more fun to watch it

The Bad things about this anime

The story is sometimes too fast while sometimes too slow, which makes it sometimes annoying to watch to...

Producer and such
Animation Producer: Bee Train
Director: Kōichi Mashimo

Writer: Kazunori Ito

Conclusion:

I liked it as it is the genre for me, but I can't say everyone likes it though

[Short]Wii Music Review

Posted by Kalu On 5/02/2009 10:39:00 PM 0 comments

I really should sleep more, I actually forget every day to update my blog, been so sleepy the latest days!

Anyway a short wii music review:

I love playing games, especially games with some or a bit of music.
So I though let's try Wii music for a change...

I love wii music, you can move like playing a real music instrument, and actually get music that sounds like music out of it

Also I love that there are a lot of instruments playable, just with the Nunchuck + wiimote.
Going from flutes to cat suits to violin and guitars.

The most important thing about the game is that it are easy songs, and that was just perfect!

The bad parts of the game is the multiplayer part, actually, it's the only bad part...
Playing on multiplayer is too hard, especially for the children that it's made for,
Some instruments just make such noise that you can't hear anything else anymore...

Conclusion

The game is very fun, only the multiplayer part could have more work.
It got lots of instruments, and fun sounds that makes it fun for everyone!

Anyway, back to playing it!

Greetings,

Kalu

[Long] Helix

Posted by Kalu On 4/12/2009 01:17:00 PM 0 comments

Well, it's a bit later than planned, but anyway...

Helix is a game made by Ghostfire games, you have to move on the music exactly as it's shown on the screen,
The Wii controller shake the whole time, which made it more fun for me. :)
As obviously already noted, it's a game for the Wii console by Nintendo.
Every couple of songs that you played, you will open a new song, which has other combination's of movements.
There are a lot of songs, and obviously 3 play modes, Easy, medium and hard.
While easy is pretty easy to do, medium can already be too hard to start with, and hard..., well it says it already, is hard.
The music of the games is by less known DJ/Mixers, which makes it sometimes a bit hard at start, because you don't know what music you will have, but is also another challenge ;).
This game is played with 2 wii remotes, and mostly focuses on the arms, while you can move your legs as well of course!

I like the game very much, as I'm overweight, and love to move with the wii to lose weight!
I would certainly give it 9 on a rate of 10, because it got some flaws.
Overall it's a great game!

.hack//infection Small Review

Posted by The Gamer Cat On 3/16/2009 10:10:00 AM 0 comments

Before starting, I'm not going to tell the story behind the game to not spoil anything if someone's going to try it!

We all know a game that we love to play forever, even if it's not possible,
I have this with the one less know games in our country, .hack//infection.
This game is known by a lot of people from the United states of America and Japan, unfortuntatly the game wasn't in europa, and because of this the GU games never came here :(.
This game is a Simulated MMORPG(Massive multiplayer online role play game), which is very nice done even!
also the Multiple quests and Voice overs made it even better!
The game is based on an anime series, with the compatible name: .Hack
While it's based on an anime the game is kind of 3D which makes it fun to play, adding up with really similar story the anime you feel like a part of the game.
The Gameplay could have be a lot easier to be honest...
The music is great, and fits with the anime also!
I have played this game for several days, but unfortunatly lost the memory card with saved data.
Overall I really think this game is good, and I advice to anyone,
On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say a 9 as the gameplay was bad.

Current Plans - Matthew

Posted by Matthew On 3/15/2009 01:00:00 PM 0 comments

To start off, At this moment Kalu and The Gamer Cat aren't able to blog because of some important things in live.
Now to tell you all the current plans on my anime reviews and such,
There isn't not going to be very important things posted yet...
Just kidding, At this moment my plannings are:
- Watching Shugo Chara!
- Review about the famous anime D.N.Angel
- Review about my favorite anime: Hunter × Hunter
- Watching Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle
- Some secrets!
While this seems almost nothing,
don't mistaken,
Unlike most animes Shugo Chara! and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle got more then the mostly 26~28 episodes,
while they only got around 100 episodes together,
It still means it will take some time to watch!
Also if you're here for a naruto review,
I would to refer you to google again,
because I am not going to review on naruto,
atleast not for now.
Naruto got 320 episodes,
and if I would guess they're 30 minutes each.
Meaning that it's around 9600 minutes, which is 160 hours, meaning around 7 whole days,
without sleeping to watch all of them, and then thinking about that they are still broadcasting more.
I am currently not able to watch anime that much after eachother as 1 anime,
But to do everyone a favor here, I will start watching it after Shugo Chara! and Tsubasa, and will see how far I got, seems like a good deal right?

Anyway, I will be publishing the first review either later today or tomorrow.

Greetings,

Matthew

Blog going through changes

Posted by Kalu On 3/14/2009 11:20:00 AM 0 comments

Good day everyone,

I actually hoped to post before Matthew, but unfortunately it was not possible I guess.
Currently this blog is going through a lot of changes, which happen to be the addition of 2 new authors to be one of them, I would like to introduce everyone:
The Gamer Cat
and
Matthew

The Gamer Cat has be joining in to tell you guys all about the latest games and games for PS2, Wii, PC and Nintendo DS.
Also he joined in to tell about his music taste, which happens to be New Age.

Also The Gamer Cat has referred me to Matthew,
He has been joining in also, because of his unusual taste of anime for a boy,
He will be telling us about his anime choices, reviews and well, all what he would like to tell actually...

Now before anyone goes wondering why I asked for Anime, well, as this blog started out by a strange look on things to be honest,
I would rather like to keep it that way, then to go to a normal Gaming Blog(And obviously also losing a lot of readers because of other more known places)

Now our plan is to keep the layout, as we love it ourselves to be honest too.
But the name of the blog and URL/link are still in discussion for better ones.
Also the sidebar is under discussion, Currently we have 3+ ads on it, we are going to reduce it back to 2, also the blog archive and labels are under discussion and I could go on.

Also the we are adding to all the tag less posts tags obviously,
And more changes are under way,
We do would to say that The entrecard widget will not be removed, so don't worry about that,
Also we are not planning on removing the project wonderful ad, the rest is under discussion.

If you have any comments or ideas, please let us know, because we take all ideas in discussion.

We will update you all on the latest news when we are done discussing.

Greetings,

Kalu, The Gamer Cat and Matthew

Matthew Saying Hi

Posted by Matthew On 3/13/2009 11:47:00 PM 0 comments

Hello Everyone,

I'm Matthew and am 13 years old.
My main interest is Anime, although I love gaming once in a while too.
The Gamer Cat and Kalu asked me to tell about anime whenever I feel like it on this blog,
And I know this blog is called A daily view on gaming, so I will guess they will explain it later or so...

Now why they asked me instead another is also not clear to me except the only reason I can think of, which is because I love other anime then the most boys do.
I love Shōjo anime,
Shōjo
, shojo or shoujo are hard words that refer if you add Anime behind to Anime that are meant for girls, aging from 10 to 18.
While I am not a girl, I love most of them, to name an example : Gakuen Alice or also known as Alice Academy.
Not because of the girls, don't get me wrong,
But I like the boys in most of them, because they are mostly just like me,
And I love also the stories more mostly...
Take for example: D.N.Angel, I guess most boys know this anime and/or manga, but actually it's for girls!
But the story is still damn good!
Also, I am not attracted to boys, in anyway, I straight like a lot of other boys!
I love the artwork of girl Anime more, as it has more detailed work mostly!

Don't get me wrong, I love the anime for boys also a lot, but I am not going to lie about anything here!

Well now you know enough of me I guess,
If you have any questions, just comment.

Yours Truly,

Matthew

Name change and some more

Posted by Kalu On 3/08/2009 11:02:00 PM 0 comments

Well as Noticed I changed the title of the blog to A Daily View On Gaming,
Daily Gaming was just too common for me.
Now I'm busy for a domain that suits, instead of the blogspot one, just to personalize it a bit, if anyone has suggestions please tell, by commenting this post!
Also donating is possible, I hope anyone would do that for me though.., please comment then too, and I will contact you as soon as possible.
Last but not least, I search some bloggers, prefer girls, but boys are obviously also always welcome!, that would like to help updating this blog, you will help other by sharing the latest games and such!, but I will make a real post about that soon!

And last but not least, I search some people who want to post exchange, meaning that if they have a good blog, they can write a post about me, and I will do the same back!
Of course, contact me for it, by commenting once again, with an url of your blog, and I will respond with a few hours mostly!

Interested, just comment!

I have a new Mp4 Player!

Posted by Kalu On 3/08/2009 10:24:00 PM 0 comments

Well guys, I should change my blog title to Weekly gaming probably XD
I have been trying to come online, but I had a real though job with getting my MP4 player to work!

I don't know if this thingy is known by the whole world, but I don't think so :(

It's sort of an advanced MP3 player.
It contains some fun features like the possibility of showing videos, ebooks and pictures, but also can record, play music, can play what you recorded and of course play games on it :).
Now that all makes it sound like an ipod probably, well that's the way how it looks actually...

Only bad part is that it won't play WMV and AVI files just like that, you have to convert them to the right format which is AMV, but the good part is lower size because of the right resolution etcetera!

But the converting takes time, so be prepared to let your pc running while not being on it, or play a game with not so high CPU perfomance needed.

Now that I got it perfectly working, I'm happy to say I love this thing!

I have a mp4 player with 8gb storage, and I filled it with one whole Anime serie of 26 episodes, one movie of dot hack...
To check what dot hack is go here : http://lmgtfy.com/?q=dot+hack
Don't worry, that is LetMeGoogleItForYou ;)

some music, some other videos and guess what, I still have more than 6GB left!

Now, I'm not trying to advertise, Mp4 is not even buyable in all countries (yet).
But I just love this thing! :)

Hope everyone enjoyed this post!, as I did try my best to make a post today just for you guys :),
Love you for reading this

Oh yeah, and I hope everyone had a great International Women's Day as I certainly had(I love being a girl hihi)

Tomorrow again great holidays! :P

And hopefully I will have time for another article tomorrow, so I hope you read it again!

PS: Because of lack of interest of the music posted last post, I will discontinue it for now

My Excuses

Posted by Kalu On 3/06/2009 07:22:00 PM 1 comments

As many of you most likely noticed, we had a problem with continues pop ups,

I am sorry for not noticing it until now, I actually have a great pop up blocker that blocked every single pop up, and as it was flagged by my pop up blocker as not safe, so I didn't got any message about it either.

Thanks to a few dedicated readers of this blog and Project Wonderful I was able to find it out before losing every reader(At least, I hope I didn't lose everyone! :()

Now I want compensate everyone for their problems, I have a exclusive offer for everyone who reads this blog:

1: Every Post I will be releasing a url or a bunch of URL, to downloads, of music, videos etc.
And anyone who comments a song gets their chance to get their song uploaded for them!

2: Everyone who reacts to the most recent post with their site URL and description of their site, gets a chance to get their blog URL up here!

Interested?, just react as soon as possible, or check out the latest posts!

Also, as make up for the thenethernet I will stash DP Cards on the main page, daily(If I got the funds on the game that is) and hidden away on SOME Pages, maybe even the links will help ;)
I will open a portal to here as soon as I do it, only problem though..., finding the portal, as it can be everywhere..., so try to check this site daily if you just want those DP Cards ;)

Well here is the first bunch of music:

*Check comments please!*

It's all sort of musics :), so have fun with it

Oh and on many demand, there will be an article about free games tomorrow!
On a bit lesser demand an article about Paid and free games - differences, advantages, disadvantages and things that are the same after that!
On even letter demand a article about Flash Games after that!
After that...., a list of free MMORPGs, why they are worth trying or why not?
and last but not least, free and paid MMORPGs article taking a look at them both...

For the thenethernet players, I stash a few cards when the updating is done!, if you miss them, sorry for it, I have to sleep soon, so updating depends when I will stash them, so keep a close look!

Oh, and the music is virus-free, I scanned it with the following scanners to be sure:

AVG
Avira(Antivir)
Norton
Kasperky

As these are the virus scans I trust ;)

Well, that's all for now!

So check back later!
